Solid and consistent catches of 15-20 fish per trip on Profishient Charters fishing out of Holland and Saugatuck Michigan. We boated over 75 fish between Friday morning and Sunday morning on our boats. Nice mix of topwater steelhead and 2 year old Kings make up the catch. Best fishing further offshore, with Blood Run super coppers dominating the action with Pro Kings, Stingers and Mag Silver Streaks in Orange, Yellow and Green. Best super copper rigs have been 100, 150 and 250 segments….all spoons. Wire divers have been steady as well with Mag Streaks in Orange and Yellow still going strong. Warm weather should push the fishing action a bit further offshore next week, and the chase to the middle of the lake will begin over the next few weeks..

A dozen kings today for Profishient Charters, tougher bite than recent days with strong east winds. Blood Run super copper again in 150, 200 and 300 foot segments with magnum Silver Streak and DW spoons worked best. Divers were quiet today, spin doctors starting to go on the riggers..

23 King salmon and steelhead this morning on Profishient Charters out of Holland Michigan. Great fishing charter with the crew of EP Hunting Outdoors television which will be airing the show on FOX outdoor programming in the Grand Rapids market. Great crew with the EP Hunting guys, they did a fantastic job getting fish to the boat. Special thanks to Capt Don Alofs of Tangled Mess Charters out of Holland for helping out this morning… Best setups were 150, 200, 250 and 300 foot segments of Blood Run Tackle Super Copper/Fluorocarbon with magnum Silver Streaks in green and orange. Limit by 845 this morning…kings and steelhead. Bloodrun Super Coppers with mag Silver Streaks in green, Bloodrun wire divers with Stingrays and riggers with Streaks all went fast and hard today. Nice kings to 15lbs. Incredible fishing right now out of Holland…as is always the case on Profishient Charters in May!
